Electron Microscopy Sciences EUKITT Neo Special Mounting Medium 100 ML
EUKITT Neo Special is a xylene free product and is characterized by faster curing and slightly higher viscosity than EUKITT Neo. Users of EUKITT Classic will appreciate the xylene free replacement. The product retains crystal-clear optics, low fluorescence, favorable refractive index, good fluidity and low shrinkage properties. The preparations are stable without cracking and discoloration.
EUKITT Neo Special is colorless and does not change shape, structure or color of the material to be examined. The use of sustainable, renewable raw material as a solvent completes the modern formulation approach.
The pleasant odor facilitates working in the laboratory. Supplied in wide neck, unbreakable aluminum bottles.
Electron Microscopy Sciences Citifluor™ Mountant Solution AF87, Glycerol Free, Non Hardening 25 ML
Citifluor mounting medium for immunofluorescence is designed to reduce the fading of the fluorescence of dyes used for labeling biological specimens. In the technique of fluorescence microscopy, the fluorescence is stimulated by high intensity UV and/or visible light. Absorption of the light populates an excited state of the dye (usually a singlet state) and this leads to fluorescence. However, the excited state of the dye may undergo chemical reaction, which leads to destruction as evidenced by the fading of the fluorescence and consequent loss of the image. Immersion oil having a refractive index of 1.52 and contains an antifadent.

Technovit Glycol Methacrylate embedding kits developed by Kulzer in Germany are the most convenient to use and offers the best embedding results. Kits give better results offering improved morphology and allows for 1 micron serial sectioning. Polymerization temperature never exceeds 40 degree C, which makes either kit a potential choice for enzyme histochemistry.
The initiator is prepackaged, eliminating messy handling of dry components, and by eliminating aromatic amines from the formation, the components are significantly less toxic. This electrically conductive silver epoxy is used for adhering samples as well as solderless connections such as bonding in electric design, prototype and repair work, circuit board repair, surface mount connections, static discharge, shielding and grounding. It is also ideal for the bonding of heat sensitive components. Its curing time is within ten minutes at 100 degree F (38 degree C), or at room temperature. Conductivity is 0.001 ohm/cm.
